Owner Matthew "Marcello" Haynes has been at the helm of the company since 2007, and has transformed the enterprise into one of the most recognized and beloved attractions in Providence. About This Trip

The Viaggio dei Sogni, or "Trip of Dreams," (an $89 value) is our basic trip package, perfect for any occasion. You'll enjoy the peaceful serenity of the Providence riverfront aboard one of our authentic Venetian gondolas.

An experienced gondolier will gently row you along the Providence and Woonasquatucket Rivers, past historical landmarks, through public parks, and under picturesque bridges. A remarkable trip to be experienced and remembered! 

Availability

  • This trip is available seven days and evenings a week, and on WaterFire Saturdays and Partial WaterFire days before the fires are lit.
  • This trip is not available during WaterFire or Partial WaterFire events. 

What's Included

Ice bucket, wine glasses, opener(Bring your own bottle(s) of wine, prosecco, juice, etc.) Complimentary bottled water is available upon request.

Handmade Italian wine biscuitsMade here in RI by our accordionist, Maria Jones of The Deli on Post.

Italian music by your gondolierAll of our gondoliers will sing for you on your trip! If you want to request a special song, just ask - we'll do our best! 

What to Bring

Your favorite beverage. Wine, beer, prosecco, juice, or anything else you enjoy - we'll have the ice bucket, glasses, and opener ready to go for you. 

Snacks, utensils, and napkins. We provide our signature wine biscuits with every trip, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks, even a picnic meal! Just be sure to bring the napkins, utensils, etc. as well, since we don't have those items on hand. 

Weather-appropriate clothing. We also have blankets and umbrellas for you to use during your trip. 

A camera. We are happy to take photos for you during your trip at your request.
